| Hi peeps, we realise that this is
the most important page on our site,
- ie whats its going to cost ya, so we thought we would also
include some other information about our farmy campy site
access and its facilities for 2012, - oh and some other important
information. (I know all this reading stuff is a bit boring,
but please read on for more information)
Our prices are simple:-
- Adults are £7.50 per night
- Children are £2.50 per night
- Babies in arms and other youngsters are free.
- Pets are also free (but under very strict control) - and
by that, we mean 'under control' - the camping field is
not a 'park' or 'back garden' - we are a farm and its both
dangerous for your pets and our own animals to 'mix'.
- Also no pets are allowed to be locked in your tents or
vehicles if your not there.
All our prices now have to include that god damned 20% VAT,
receipts can be given on payment if you bug me enough to print
one out for you ;)
Large/Long Vehicle Access???
The lane up to Allt y coed from Poppit Sands has no maximum
limit for vehicle length or width sign posted by the council,
which has resulted in a good few stuck tankers and delivery
lorries. I would state that you shouldn't/can't drive anything
wider than 8 foot unless your a competent driver with a magicians
hat on for moving trees and hedges.
- Small and mid range vehicles are welcomed.
- We can not accept caravans or winnebago size vehicles.
- We have no hook-ups.
- We dont have the facilities to empty chemical toilets,
you'll have to 'go' in the same toilets as everyone else
- bring some wipes or use the cleaning products supplied
if you think your world may end if you sit on a pre-warmed
seat. Or just sit and be thankful.
A few points - maybe to many:-
- There are no fires allowed on a crowded campsite (except
for bbqs).
- No generators at all, even if you have a posh van or tent.
- No parties that will disturb the majority.
- Sundown - is sleepytime, which we will enforce for all
your comfort
- We wont tollerate people asking us to stop feeding animals
and making farm noise at their bedtimes. Believe it or not
we do have to feed our animals and they cant really tell
time, and like a bit of nosh before sundown. (believe me
its happened - but I dont think its something I should have
put on the website - oh whoops)
- Please switch you car alarms off when staying or leaving
a vehicle - no-one acts on them going off except the people
getting annoyed by them (although I am pretty sure this
is a worldwide reaction to a car alarm) - please use your
immobiliser and your locks if it helps to clam your nerves
or take a wheel with you ;) - or if your leaving your car
for a few days to go walking, please drop the keys in the
farm and we'll put them in our safe.
NOTE:- We are not the camp site where Bert works down by
Poppit Beach!
We are just up the hill 1 Mile from the start of the path.
If you want to camp in Berts place its just a case of pitching
up and waiting for him to do the rounds in the morning.
We would really appreciate you coming down the farmhouse
and paying for your stay on arrival if no-one approaches you,
honesty is the policy here.
We love living here and I am sure you'll like staying here
:)
